I bought this to hold a 32 lb. center channel speaker above a flat panel TV. This product was easy to install and is very sturdy. It is rated to hold up to 100 lbs., so I was confident the center channel weight would not be a problem. I did have to purchase a sheet rock bolt, since I did not have 2 convenient studs. I found, at a local Home Depot, a sheet rock bolt solution that was rated up to 110 lbs. Overkill, yes, but it was worth the piece of mind to get the strongest they had.

This shelf, when installed with components, becomes almost hidden and obscured by the components so much you can't really tell how they are suspended. Great work Peerless!

well, i bought this AV equipment mount to have a place on top of my TV to acommodate my new Polk CS2 center speaker, installation was really quick and easy.
now my center speaker looks gorgeous. one think i have to tell you is that its a little bulky, but hey! no problem for me because is really strong and it make my nerve calm.
my speaker will stay there without falling! Great Buy
